Woven By Breath; Life In Multitudes

Life is a storm,
whipping and churning
inside of us,
tearing us apart
with its fierce winds
and relentless waves.
Love is a fragile flower, blooming
in the midst of the storm,
its delicate petals swaying
in the wind,
but never breaking.
Loss is a demon,
lurking in the shadows,
waiting to pounce on us
when we least expect it,
taking away the people
and things we hold dear.
Depression is
a suffocating darkness,
enveloping us
in its embrace,
trapping us
in a never-ending cycle
of sadness and despair.
Isolation is a prison,
separating us
from the world,
locking us away
from the people
and places
that bring us joy.
But amidst all this
chaos and turmoil,
there is beauty.
A beauty that is
multifaceted
and ever-changing,
like the shifting patterns
of a kaleidoscope.
This beauty takes on
many forms,
from the intricate
structures of a snowflake
to the delicate
melody of a bird's song.
It is a beauty
that transforms us,
lifting us
out of the darkness
and into the light.
And in this light,
we find hope.
A hope that transcends
even the depths of hell,
shining like a beacon
in the midst of the storm.
For in the midst
of all this
pain and suffering,
we are not alone.
We are held
in the loving embrace
of the universe,
a universe that is
infinite in its beauty
and possibilities.
